Katie Taylor holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky, building upon her undergraduate studies in cultural anthropology at the University of Louisville. As a Haitian American who grew up in a military family, Katie’s diverse background deeply informs her approach as an Associate Clinical Social Worker.
Katie’s professional journey spans a rich tapestry of experiences, beginning with her early work supporting international elementary students and adolescents. Her commitment to community care extended to working with new mothers, senior citizens, and addressing cultural issues within the Black community.
Katie has adeptly integrated various therapeutic modalities including Play Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Multicultural Therapy into her practice.
