I am the Owner of MBHH. I have over ten years experience as a therapist working in several areas such as medical, agency and private practice. I have extensive experience and education with EMDR, grief/loss and trauma. I have certification with David Kessler as a Grief Educator to help agencies, groups, individuals and the community living with grief and loss. I am also an approved Supervisor for Licensure in the state of Washington and enjoy helping others be successful but also be valued.
In my personal life, I enjoy my family and our dogs. My Golden Retriever, Brody is my therapy dog. I love the outdoors, movies, music, cooking, gardening, and learning new things. I have had to start over several times in life, had loss and sorrow of losing both parents and many other difficulties in life. It was when I reached out to someone to help me when I started to feel better…heard…validated and not alone.
Therapist come in all shapes and sizes, all personalities, and from all different backgrounds. Know that I bring a sense of humor (at appropriate times), a feeling of comfort to my clients, and a kindness to the clients that I serve. I look forward to hearing from you.
